Laptops need the same attention. Zoom uses a two-device sharing feature that lets hosts share their resources. You will join the same meeting when you log in with the second device. When both devices are logged in, the participant menu will display both devices.

Zoom allows you to log in on different devices at once a computer, a tablet, and a phone.
